A request for early check-in can be made with The Pines Barwon Heads team, however, it is not guaranteed. While we will always do our best to have The Pines ready for you if you wish to guarantee an early check-in the room should be booked for the night prior or an extra half day.

The minimum check-in age for the main guest on the reservation is 21 years.

We do not take Schoolies reservations.

We work offsite & do not operate a reception office. Although we are just as helpful! The Pines Barwon Heads is self contained although if you do have any issues or questions you can always give us a call or send us an email. We are here to help during office hours.

You will receive all the instructions via a text & email on the morning before you arrive.

As all the information is sent to you on the morning of your arrival, you are more than welcome to arrive any time that suits you after 2pm.

We are a small family run business (who go to bed early as we a two year old & a newborn).

We are located within a 3-5 minute drive to the main street where all the shops/restaurants are.

The River is a similar distance which is a great family friendly location.

The Pines Barwon Heads is a 90 acre property with a double garage available for the House & outside parking for the Suite. We do ask that you are respectful & do not park on the grass.

The Pines Barwon Heads is strictly non-smoking. Please kindly close any doors whist smoking outdoors so the smell does not travel inside. Any smoke smell that may travel inside if doors are left open will be charged a $500 cleaning fee.

Yes, we can offer gift cards either to apply to a certain booking or just an amount. Vouchers can be emailed for you to print or posted to you.

We supply all linen & towels! You will need to bring a couple of beach towels if the weather is looking fine for the pool or beach!

A very comfortable 26 degrees. This cannot be altered during your stay. Children must be supervised by an adult while at the pool at all times.

As this is a rural property please be aware of:

• Electric fences
• Long grasses can = snakes
• Live stock (If a gate is closed, make sure it remains)
• We have cows on the property that need to be taken care of so you may see the farmer out & about in the paddock from time to time.
  He’s friendly! Give him a wave! He won’t come anywhere near the House or Suite!

We have a bbq available for our guests to use at both the House & the Suite. Please be respectful & clean up after you have cooked your dinner. You can find a bbq cleaning kit inside both kitchens.

Yes, we have a high speed wifi at The Pines Barwon Heads.

Yes we have one Pines Netflix guest account – any other streaming services will need your own account to log in.

We have a very strict NO PARTY policy.

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at The Pines Barwon Heads.

We take a 50% deposit to secure any bookings with us with the final payment due 48 hours prior to your arrival.

During the year we have a minimum 3 night stay. We do have other minimums during peak times, school holidays & some long weekends.

Our high seasons are Christmas / New Years (20th December – 29th January), and Easter.

We do not have a surcharge for Visa or Mastercard. There is a 2% surcharge for American express.

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate any more than 12 guests, 2 infants at The Pines Barwon Heads.

We can provide a porta-cot for an extra $10 per night charge although we do require at least 48 hours notice.

There is also a high chair available in the laundry.

We cannot provide a baby gate for the house.

If you have booked through a booking channel (such as booking.com) you will need to contact them directly.

• For any cancellations outside 30 days prior to your arrival we take a 10% of the full booking amount.
• For any cancellations inside 30 days prior to your arrival we take the 50% deposit as cancellation.
• For any cancellations inside 48 hours prior to your arrival we take the full 100% payment.
• For online travel agent bookings please contact the agent directly.

There is an IGA in the town of Barwon Heads (about a 3-5min drive) or Woolworths in Warralilly which is about a 10min drive in the opposite direction.
